How Massage Therapy Fits Into Emergency Response Disasters

At the end of this Workshop participants will be able to:

  • Describe the function of Emergency Management, the Incident Command System, and the National Incident Management System

  • Recognize the function of Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)

  • Describe the role of massage therapy in emergency management

  • Perform a stress reducing chair massage

  • Use key elements of Aromatherapy for stress reduction

  • Join the Carolina Emergency Response Massage Team (CERMT)
